Abstract :

Council 2017 instructed the Secretary-General to submit to the 2018 ordinary session of the Council a study on conducting hearings of the candidates running for elected positions at PP-18 taking into account the contributions and consequent discussions during Council 2017. Additionally, the Council invited the Secretary-General to produce ethics guidelines for internal candidates.
Council 2017 also instructed the Secretary-General to submit the draft of the study to CWG-FHR at its meeting in the beginning of 2018 and invited the CWG-FHR to bring its comments for the consideration of the Council 2018.
