Abstract :

Emergency communication support of extreme scenarios urgently requires rapid and flexible communication solutions. The UAV has become an important solution for emergency communication due to their strong manoeuvrability, rapid deployment, and high scalability. Currently, China has developed various systems such as tethered UAV, unmanned helicopters, and fixed-wing UAV, which can quickly compensate for signal blind spots in "three-cut" scenarios and support functions like public network, private network base station installation, and satellite backhaul. Through multiple scenario case analyses, this article elaborates on the practical applications of UAE in the field of emergency communication during extreme disasters such as typhoons, flood control, fires, and earthquakes, aiming to provide reference-worthy China experiences and technical solutions for the area of global emergency communication.
