Registration
The Global Innovation Forum was open to all stakeholders working on digital innovation, including policymakers, academics, development agencies, international organizations, startups, SMEs, digital innovation agencies, enterprise development agencies, entrepreneurial support organizations, development banks, funding partners, venture capitalists, digital changemakers, industry experts, and thought leaders in the relevant fields.
The forum also saw representatives and experts engaged in the work of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Alliance for Digital Development, including the Digital Innovation Board and ITU Acceleration Centres, Regional Acceleration Award Winners, Alliance Work Group Experts, Startups and SMEs from the exhibition, and youth from Generation Connect.
Below are the instructions that were provided for registration, badging, and other related information.
How to Register
Physical participation
Advance registration is mandatory. Each participant must first complete an online registration form. An ITU user account is requiered for this purpose. All registrations request are subject to approval, either by Designated Focal Points (DFPs) for ITU-D event registration for ITU members, or by ITU and the Host Country for non-ITU members.

Virtual participation is also available. The Forum will be held in a hybrid format, but physical participation is highly recommended. Sessions and activities will be held onsite. Remote participants will not be allowed to take the floor.

Badging
All badges must be collected personally as a photograph will be taken and printed on the badge for access control security. Badges are therefore strictly non-transferable.
Location
Pick up your event badge at the badging stations located in the Mediterranean Conference Centre in Valletta, Malta, from 28 to 30 October 2024.
