17th Meeting
of the Expert Group on Telecommunication/ICT Indicators
The 17th meeting of the Expert Group on Telecommunication/ICT Indicators (EGTI) was held in Geneva, Switzerland, from 9 to 11 September 2026. The meeting was held back-to-back with the 14th meeting of the Expert Group on ICT Household Indicators (EGH) and the 21st World Telecommunication/ ICT Indicators Symposium (WTIS-26).
The meeting aimed to review subgroup contributions from the current work period and to finalize the topics under discussion. In addition, the meeting identified topics for the 2027 work programme.
On 11 September 2026, a dedicated in-person workshop for practitioners offered to EGTI and EGH members a unique opportunity to exchange experiences and share good practices in data collection, as well as to raise questions related to practical challenges.
