Committee. This includes a return to “Provisional Verifier” status. Any changes to Verifier status, up
or down in grading, will be made by the U4SSC Review Committee.

I. R Provisional Verifier: R indicates the individual has been returned to the Provisional status
from Qualified Verifier status. Such a recommendation may be made by the U4SSC Review
Committee based on objective evidence of questionable reviews. The individual may be
returned to Qualified Verifier status once any remedial actions, defined and documented by
the U4SSC Review Committee have been satisfied.

II. Suspended: An individual designated with this status is deemed no longer qualified to be
a Verifier at all. An individual has likely been assigned this designation after unsuccessfully
satisfying the aforementioned remedial actions from “R” status. A person may be suspended
without passing through “R” status if it has been deemed any egregious activity has been
perpetrated.

A Verifier may appeal “R” status or “Suspended” status decisions to the Review Committee. Such
appeals must be documented and must include a perceived justification. Final decisions of the
Review Committee must be documented and conveyed to the Verifier.
