There are also other factors that could contribute to overall smart city resilience. While dealing with
health-related emergencies, a smart city infrastructure must be able to sustain itself against hazards.
Cascading disaster events or emergencies triggered by other natural hazards and disasters, such
as tropical storms and landslides, which, if not considered during the preparedness and mitigation
phases, can cause massive disruption of smart city infrastructure (telecom networks, data centres
etc.) and adversely affect the entire health care system and services.
