Implementing ITU-T International Standards to shape Smart Sustainable Cities - The case of Moscow





                     Continued steady progress in Moscow and partnership with the private sector is needed,
                    therefore, to meet the UN SDG Target 7.3: By 2030, double the global rate of improvement
                                                    in energy efficiency.



                     All of the above is also important towards reporting of the UN SDG Indicator 11.7.1: The
                        average share of the built-up area of cities that is open space for public use for all,
                                 disaggregated by age group, sex and persons with disabilities.

                  The  following  list  summarizes  the  key  measures  adopted  by  Moscow  within  the  U4SSC
                  Environment  dimension  and  offers  further  suggestions  for  other  aspiring  Smart  Sustainable
                  Cities, as well as Moscow.
