Implementing ITU-T International Standards to shape Smart Sustainable Cities - The case of Moscow
Continued steady progress in Moscow and partnership with the private sector is needed,
therefore, to meet the UN SDG Target 7.3: By 2030, double the global rate of improvement
in energy efficiency.
All of the above is also important towards reporting of the UN SDG Indicator 11.7.1: The
average share of the built-up area of cities that is open space for public use for all,
disaggregated by age group, sex and persons with disabilities.
The following list summarizes the key measures adopted by Moscow within the U4SSC
Environment dimension and offers further suggestions for other aspiring Smart Sustainable
Cities, as well as Moscow.
