John Smiciklas holds a Bachelor of Applied Science, Engineering from the University of Toronto, Canada. John
has over 20 years’ experience in the auditing and verification of various global standards including ISO 9001,
OHSAS 18001, ISO 14001 and ISO 37120. John is currently registered as an ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, Ontario
Electrical Safety Association Reg 22/04 Construction Verification Auditor and ISO 37120 Verifier. John is also
currently the Building Owners and Managers Association of Canada, Director of Building Certification
Program (BOMA BEST) and previously Director of Corporate Responsibility Programs, BlackBerry; and
Manager Sustainable Business Practice, PricewaterhouseCoopers.
