“Avanti Communications Group plc. is a European pioneer in the application of Ka-band satellite technology. Avanti's first satellite called HYLAS 1, launched on November 26th 2010 and is the first superfast broadband satellite launched in Europe. David is the co-founder and Chief Executive of Avanti Communications Group plc.  Avanti owns and operates satellites using the high frequency “Ka band” which are perfect for providing broadband telecoms services to consumers, companies and governments.  Avanti’s first three satellites serve Europe, Middle East and Africa.  

Avanti is listed on the London Stock Exchange and Avanti has more than £500 million invested in its fleet.    Prior to co-founding Avanti in 2002, David spent a decade working in banking, financing a variety of cable, mobile and satellite telecoms companies.
