Mr Patricio Northland Verdejo

Mr. Patricio Ernesto Northland serves as Chief Executive Officer of Eutelsat Americas at Eutelsat Communications Société Anonyme. Mr. Northland has been the Chief Executive Officer at Satélites Mexicanos S.A de C.V. since May 1, 2008. He serves as President of AT&T Latin America Corp. Mr. Northland served as Chief Executive Officer of Satmex Escrow, S.A. de C.V. He served as the Chief Executive Officer of AT&T Latin America Corp. since August 28, 2000. He served as President ... and Chief Executive Officer of FirstCom Corporation from November 1996 to August 2000. He held key management positions with PanamSat and IntelSat. In 1991, he founded AmericaTel Corporation. In 1993, Mr. Northland successfully completed a joint venture agreement between AmericaTel and Entel, Chile's major long distance carrier. Under his leadership, AmericaTel Corporation grew to provide satellite-based voice, data and fax telecommunications services to corporate customers in several Latin American nations. He has over 17 years of experience as an international communications executive and entrepreneur. He served as Chairman of the Board of AT&T Latin America Corp. since August 28, 2000 and serves as its Director. He served as Chairman of FirstCom Corporation from November 1996 to August 2000 and served as its Director. Mr. Northland holds an engineering degree from the University of Chile, a master's degree in communications from George Washington University, and an MBA from The University of Chicago.
