ITU Telecom World 2015 announces influential speaker
line-up
Experts to focus on accelerating ICT innovation for social impact
Geneva, 8 September 2015 – ITU Telecom World 2015 has
announced its line-up of speakers, including key policy makers, regulators,
industry experts, investors, SMEs, entrepreneurs and innovators. They will take
part in Forum panel sessions and Exhibition workshops at ITU Telecom World 2015,
the global ICT innovation event for SMEs, corporates and governments, which
takes place in Budapest, Hungary, 12 -15 October 2015.
Exploring how to expand access, build trust and accelerate innovative
ICT-enabled solutions, expert speakers in the Leadership Summit and Forum
include:
Ali Hassan Bahdon, Minister of Communication,

“ITU Telecom World 2015 will focus on the solutions, policies, projects and
initiatives that are accelerating ICT innovation worldwide,” said ITU
Secretary-General Houlin Zhao. “Our goal is to bring the benefits of digital
technologies to more people, more quickly. One crucial way we will achieve this
is through our Forum, by convening a global mix of speakers drawn from
government and across the industry, including innovative ICT SMEs, and providing
them with an international platform where they can connect, hold constructive
dialogues, inspire, inform and make a real change.”

Note: Media accreditation for ITU Telecom World 2015, 12-15
October 2015, enabling free access to the event for registered media and
analysts is open. Accreditation is compulsory.
UN Press accreditation is valid, but registration is required to obtain an
event badge.
Journalists and analysts who have formally accredited for ITU events in 2015
and whose details have not changed during this period do not need to re-submit
accreditation credentials, but still need to register for an event badge.
Accreditation and registration for ITU Telecom World 2015 in advance is
highly recommended to avoid queues and delays onsite.
