July, 2012 – Media accreditation is now open for ITU Telecom World 2012, a unique
gathering of leading global ICT stakeholders drawn from across the public and
private spheres to be held 14-18 October, 2012 in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
Topping the agenda this year: promoting leadership
and innovation to expand broadband services in a competitive marketplace, while
achieving global connectivity and ensuring equal access and transparency.
ITU Telecom World 2012 is unlike any other event on
the calendar of media professionals this year. The conference is a rare
opportunity for thought leaders and digital pioneers in the corporate, research
and academic sectors from around the world to meet with high-ranking policy
makers and regulators, collaborating to share ideas on the future of global
telecommunications.
