• ​​​​​​​​​​​What is TIES access? 
  TIES access is provided, on demand, to staff from ITU Members (Member States, Sector Members, Associates, and Academia).  TIES provides personalized access (through a username and a password) to a number of services. TIES services are provided to support the participation of Members in the activities of the Union and include email, online collaboration tools, access to ITU meeting documents, automatic email notifications, etc. ​
• Am I eligible for TIES access? 
  TIES services are available without any charge to staff from ITU Members: Member States, Sector Members, Associates, and Academia 
  
• How can I get a TIES access?
  1. Create a user account or log in if you already have one
  2. Request TIES access from the menu option
  3. The Focal Point of your organization/company will receive an email for authorization
  4. Once the Focal Point has authorized the request, the new TIES access is created 
  5. At any time you can see the status of your request under My Requests
• How do I know if my TIES access is active?
  If you have the TIES Settings menu option when you log in, then your TIES access is active.
• I cannot login to my User account. Why?
  1. Check that you properly typed uppercase/lowercase letters for the username/password
  2. Check that the password is correct. If you are not sure, click on "Forgot your password?"
  3. If the problem persists, please contact the Service Desk
• I forgot my username and/or password. Where can I get them?
  If you have forgotten your password, click on "Forgot your password?"

• How do I change my password?
  Login to your account and click on "Change Password" under Settings
• What is the TIES Focal Point? 
  In each organization/company there is a TIES Focal Point responsible for:
  a) Accepting/refusing requests for TIES Access 
  b) Maintaining the list of TIES Users
• How can I restore an inactive TIES access? 
  Login to your account and "Request TIES access" under Requests
  Alternatively, contact your TIES Focal Point who can re-activate your access
• How do I access my TIES email? *
  TIES email has been discontinued. You can setup a forwarding email address (see below).
• How do I change the email for Mailing lists I am subscribed to?
  1. Log in to your user account
  2. Under TIES Settings, select TIES User Profile
  3. Change the email in the "ITU-T & ITU-D Mailing Lists E-mail" field
  4. Click on the "Save" button to ensure your changes have been recorded
• How do I forward my TIES e-mail to another e-mail address? *
  1. Login to the ITU User account management system, and Click on TIES User Profile under TIES Settings.
  2. Enter your e-mail address in the field TIES Email forward field and click on the Save button.
• What happens to e-mails sent to my TIES email address between 17 November 2017 and setting up the forwarding address?
  The sender will receive a Non-delivery message. In order to re-enable the address, you must enter a valid forwarding e-mail address, at which point you will receive future emails to that address.
