Less than three weeks left until ITU Telecom World 2016 opens its doors. The global tech exhibition, forum for sharing knowledge and influential Awards programme, Telecom World 2016 will offer a networking hub for corporate, government and SME leaders. Taking place from14-17 November in Bangkok, Thailand, ITU Telecom World 2016 will provide a unique international platform bringing together developed and emerging markets, public and private sector leaders, and industry representatives from across the entire ICT ecosystem.

Discussions will be launched by a VVIP panel at the Forum Opening ceremony, followed by the Leadership Summit, which convenes highest-level experts from public and private sectors to explore why working together is so important for growing the digital economy. Forum sessions will delve into an exciting set of topics such as AI, how ICTs can meet the UN's Sustainable development goals (SDGs), the connected car, digital financial inclusion and fiscal incentives and taxation in the industry. Why: ITU Telecom World 2016 brings together a uniquely influential audience of public and private sectors. Note: Media accreditation for ITU Telecom World 2016, 14-17 November 2016, enabling free access to the event for registered media and analysts is open. Accreditation is compulsory.

UN Press accreditation is valid, but registration is required to obtain an event badge.

Journalists and analysts who have been formally accredited for ITU events in 2016 and whose details have not changed during this period do not need to re-submit a request for accreditation credentials. They still need to register for an event badge.

Accreditation and registration for ITU Telecom World 2016 in advance is highly recommended to avoid queues and delays onsite.
