Contribution :	It is Canada’s understanding that the purpose of this public consultation(s) is to provide input and contribute to the work of the Council’s Working Group on the Strategic and Financial Plan (CWG-SFP), and that any output documents or recommendations from the CWG-SFP on the strategic priorities of the Union will be brought to Council 2018 for its consideration and further submission to PP-18. Furthermore, Canada understands that the relevant document for this purpose is PP Resolution 71 and its Annex, particularly the situational analysis of the Radiocommunication (ITU-R), Telecommunication Standardization (ITU-T) and Telecommunication Development (ITU-D) sectors. Canada looks forward to participating in the up-coming meetings of the CWG-SFP
