The 1st Athens Digital Payments Summit was originally planned to take place in Athens, Greece on 8-9 July 2015. Please note the new date of the event is 30 September 2015.
This event was co-organized by the International Telecommunication Union, General Secretariat of Telecommunications &Posts of Greece, Hellenic Association of Computer Engineers, Technical Chamber of Greece, Hellenic Association of Mobile Application Companies.
In line with the upcoming Digital Single Market initiative of the European Union and its goal to boost the digital economy landscape, the Summit examined a wide range of important changes that the Europe payments industry is experiencing and a closer look was taken at the latest legislative developments. Key figures from business, legal and regulatory backgrounds were brought together to discuss Emerging issues in the payments sector were discussed by the key figures from business, legal and regulatory areas of work. Experts shared their knowledge best practices and strategic vision on the development and regulation of the payment sector. The summit also offered a range of exclusive networking opportunities.
