Regional Conference on Protection of the Interests of the Electronic Communication Users

 






 
The eleventh edition of the Regional Conference “Regulatory Activity in Electronic Communications Sector“, this year focusing on Protection of the Interests of the Electronic Communication Users. It will be held from 30 September to 1 October 2013, in Budva, Montenegro, within the framework of the Festival of ICT Achievements – INFOFEST 2013. Conference is organized by the Agency for Electronic Communications and Postal Services of Montenegro (EKIP) and International Telecommunication Union (ITU).  
 

 

The Conference aims to provide a basis for identification of the challenges to protect consumers in the ICT ecosystem, presentation of current regulatory frameworks in relation to the protection of users in a digital world, exchange best regulatory practices as well as development of recommendations and guidelines to successfully address issues related to convergence.
Representatives of European regulatory agencies, ministries, operators of electronic communications, as well as representatives and experts of international organizations and institutions in charge of the regulation and development policy of electronic communications are invited to take part in the Conference. All stakeholders are encouraged to participate as a panelist or a lecturer, and requested to send to conference@ekip.me the title of the presentation by 3 September 2013, and the presentation itself by 20 September 2013.
