ITU Centres of Excellence Workshop on New and Advanced Technologies of Digital Television and Related Video Applications, Odessa, Ukraine, 18-21 August 2015

OVERVIEW

 

​This workshop aims to introduce participants to modern and advanced digital television systems and standards, in particular systems of digital production and broadcasting, media information compression, image quality assessment and management, and sound accompaniment. It will focus on topics that address digital television legal framework; standard definition television (SDTV); high definition television (HDTV) ultra high definition television (UHDTV); stereoscopic and multi-angle television; multimedia and interactive video applications; video information and digital cinema systems.

The workshop will be held in English languague.
