Executive Training Program on Enabling Frameworks for ICT Development

                                             

Infocomm Development Authority (IDA) of Singapore in cooperation with the International Telecommunication Union is organizing an Executive Training Program on Enabling Frameworks for ICT Development - The Singapore Experience, which will take place in Singapore on 28 Sept - 2 October 2015.

The Program is addressed to senior officials, or those with at least 5 years of relevant experience, from Telecommunication/ICT Ministries and Regulatory Bodies dealing with policy and regulatory planning and implementation.

The Training aims to provide an overview of telecommunication/ICT regulatory framework and practices based on Singapore's ICT development experience. For details on fees, programme and registration, kindly visit http://www.ida.gov.sg/Policies-and-Regulations/International-Relations-For-Telecom .

In accordance with the ITU/IDA agreement  training fees will be waived by IDA and ITU will provide partial fellowships covering daily allowance  to Least Developed Countries (LDCs) and eligible low income developing countries of the Asia-Pacific region, subject to available resources.  Fellowships for eligible countries will be limited to around 10, with preference to LDCs.

  1. Please submit the duly accomplished ITU  fellowship request form by 28 August 2015 at the latest.
  2. Please note that participants/organizations should bear the fees charged by IDA for this training and make their own travel and accommodations arrangements.
