22 May 2013: ITU had the pleasure of participating at the side event on mHealth for NCDs during the 66th World Health Assembly organized by the Ministry of Health of Costa Rica.
The event was a lunchtime panel discussion on the WHO-ITU program mHealth for NCDs. The main objective of the event was to inform Member States on the opportunity on mHealth for NCDs and to discuss how these recent technological innovations are changing the healthcare and health-management context for NCDs.Participants included delegates from various Member States, civil society representatives, private sector representatives and media personnel.
