This session highlighted the collaborative preparations that were underway for the WSIS+20 Overall Review by the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) in 2025. Representatives from key UN entities—ITU, UNESCO, UNDP, CSTD/UNCTAD, and UN DESA—outlined their respective roadmaps and the agreed modalities that guided the review process.
The discussion underscored the continued relevance and impact of the WSIS Process, with particular attention to core components such as the WSIS Forum, WSIS Stocktaking and Prizes, UNGIS, and other initiatives.
