Girls in ICT is an international event initiated by the International Telecommunication Union, celebrated on the fourth Thursday of April each year. The event recognises the contributions of women and girls in the tech fields and encourages girls to pursue IT-related courses and tech careers.The ICT/Computer Hardware Technology Department of Asuansi Technical Institute is hosting the 2025 Girls in ICT Day celebration. The event is scheduled for Thursday, 24th April, 2025, under the theme: Girls in ICT for Inclusive Digital Transformation.Guest Speakers will join the event virtually to interact with the female students.Under the leadership of the Head of Department, Joel Baah, the department has been contributing to Girls in ICT education and tech fields.
