               2 Use Case Description

               21 Description

As the global culture and tourism industry accelerates its digital transformation, traditional
cultural heritage interpretation services face four critical challenges:

Inefficient Service Delivery: Manual guiding is constrained by manpower limitations, leading
to supply-demand imbalances during peak seasons and inconsistent service quality due to
varying expertise levels among guides. This model struggles to scale, leaving visitors in high-
               traffic venues underserved and dissatisfied.

Monotonous Experience Design: Traditional hardware-based audio guides suffer from fixed,
rarely updated content and a lack of interactivity, failing to engage modern audiences. Their
cumbersome rental/return processes and limited functionality (e.g., no real-time updates or
personalized responses) create friction in the user journey, resulting in subpar experiences.

Limited Cultural Engagement: Current services rely on one-way information delivery, neglecting
the younger generation’s demand for immersive, personalized interactions. This static approach
fails to contextualize heritage stories or adapt to visitor interests, leading to low knowledge
retention and missed opportunities for meaningful cultural connection—with less than 50% of
exhibit information effectively absorbed by visitors.

High Operational Costs: Maintenance of traditional equipment incurs significant expenses due
to frequent wear-and-tear, manual inventory management, and technical support needs. These
costs escalate further in large institutions, straining budgets and diverting resources from core
               heritage preservation efforts.

In order to enhance the visiting experience of tourists in museums and scenic spots, address
the shortcomings of traditional guided tour services, make full use of artificial intelligence
technology, and promote the innovative development of intelligent services for cultural
heritage, China Telecom Gansu Company has planned the AI Yi Jiang Jie product based on
               artificial intelligence.

The Yi Jiang Jie product aims to provide intelligent private tour guide services for tourists in
museums and scenic spots, helping them easily acquire historical and cultural knowledge during
the visit and enhancing their visiting experience. At the same time, as an innovative application
of intelligent services for cultural heritage, it explores and showcases the connotations of
heritage in a digital and intelligent way. It can not only update the content rapidly, enabling
tourists to keep abreast of the latest cultural trends and expand their knowledge, but also
encourage questions and exchanges through multimodal interactions. The convenient access
