5.2.2 Requirements
– the SCHub taxonomy for the required event has been agreed and standardized.
– the SCHub IoT gateway for the accessed sensors has been implemented according to the
SCHub schema specification.
5.2.3 Scenario
In this scenario, temperature data in a SC are requested. Temperature is measured by various sensor
types (e.g., environmental, water meters, parking spaces). The SCHub will provide a list of devices
that provide temperature data, regardless their types or manufacturers (Figure 14).

5.3 Retrieval of sensor measurements using a unified API
The sensors deployed in a SC are using various technologies and schemas to describe the data
they measure. The unified SCHub API will make the access to these data easier.
