            Similarly, when a partner wants to connect with the SC to gain access to the available information
            and services or to offer information and services, it should be able to “connect” to the SC Hub
            (Figure 7) as it does with the SCP (Figure 1a, Figure 1b).


            The digital hub data platform is designed to operate independently of or on a layer above the
            SCP, adopting a non-federated architecture. The most important role of the SCHub is to offer
            standardized interfaces (APIs) to the data consumers that want to gain access to the data that
            are available within the SC. The SCHub does not oblige data to be gathered and stored in a
            common repository or cloud (that today in many industry implementations normally belongs to
            platform vendors), or necessarily to be visualized in a specific dashboard (but potentially numerous).
            Furthermore, the SCHub platform developers should follow open SDKs.
