Abstracto :

At its January 2024 session, the Council Working Group on financial and human resources (CWG-FHR) reviewed a multi-country contribution CWG-FHR-17/15 regarding fee exemptions for entities of an international character. In the Chair's report, the CWG-FHR invited the secretariat to provide the following information for the fall 2024 meeting:
1 perform a study on how other UN agencies define "reciprocity" and provide a document, together with the results of that study, on how the secretariat has encountered issues in implementation of the 2017 guidelines, taking into account the edits that have been proposed in this contribution on Resolution 925, and
2 assess the impact of implementing some or all of the changes proposed in this contribution and how much revenue they could provide for the ITU.
