This document provides an overview of the work undertaken by the Telecommunication Development Bureau (BDT) since TDAG-25 on early warning systems (EWS), emergency telecommunications, and climate change monitoring. The document highlights ITU's leadership role in the Early Warnings for All (EW4All) initiative, including its work on artificial intelligence (AI) through the AI for EW4All Group. It also outlines ITU's work on monitoring the environmental impact of the ICT sector, including greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and energy use, through global and national data frameworks.
