Abstract :

This contribution highlights practical challenges faced by developing countries related to the vulnerability of digital infrastructure to natural disasters and disruptions of submarine cable systems, as well as rising energy consumption and operational costs. It proposes that ITU-D strengthen support to Member States through practical guidance, capacity-building and knowledge-sharing on resilient and sustainable digital infrastructure.
