Abstract :

This contribution presents the "Anatel nas Escolas" Programme, an initiative developed by the Brazilian National Telecommunications Agency (Anatel) to promote digital citizenship, online safety and digital skills among students in public schools. Through workshops, lectures and interactive educational activities, the programme addresses topics such as privacy, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, cyberbullying, responsible internet use, consumer rights and digital well-being. The initiative demonstrates how digital skills development can be integrated with online protection and digital inclusion policies, contributing to safer and more meaningful use of digital technologies.
