The Third Meeting of the Digital Innovation Board of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Alliance for Digital Development will be held on 1–2 October 2025 at the Catalonia Hotel in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.
Meeting Objectives
The third Board Meeting aims to review progress since the second meeting, particularly on the high-level work plan, strategic communication plan, and monitoring and evaluation framework. It will also highlight the contributions of the Expert Network and provide a platform for in-depth exchanges on future initiatives and the strategic direction of the Alliance.
Participation in this meeting was by invitation only.
Background
The Digital Innovation Board is one of the three main vehicles of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Alliance for Digital Development, a flagship initiative of the Telecommunication Development Bureau (BDT) of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU). The Digital Innovation Board and each of its esteemed Members contributes to shaping an inclusive digital future for all, as the Alliance aims to accelerate digital transformation by fostering local digital innovation and entrepreneurial capacities and creating linkages at the national, regional, and global levels. The Digital Innovation Board advises the Director of the Telecommunication Development Bureau on issues related to the Alliance and to innovation and entrepreneurship specifically.
