Gifts

What we do

In line with ITU’s sustainability commitment, the distribution of physical gifts will be kept to a minimum. Whenever possible, gifts will be sourced locally and made from biodegradable or recycled materials. Plastic bags are replaced with reusable or compostable alternatives, and digital appreciation tokens are encouraged to reduce waste.

What you can do

If gifts are unavoidable, please try to ensure they are virtual, or eco-friendly, ethically and locally sourced, and with minimal packaging. If shipping gifts or other packages, consider using local suppliers. Left-over gifts are encouraged to be donated to a local charity.
