What we do
To minimize single-use plastic waste, all catering services and water dispensers at the Baku Congress Center will use reusable or biodegradable tableware and cups. Locally sourced and seasonal food products are prioritized to support sustainable agriculture and reduce transportation emissions.
Menus will include vegetarian and vegan options, ensuring inclusivity and healthy, environmentally friendly choices for all participants. Food quantities are carefully planned to minimize waste, and all surpluses will be managed in accordance with the event’s sustainability policy.
What you can do
Bring your own reusable water bottle for use at the water dispensers. If you are organizing a reception, please prioritize local and seasonal food and request reusable tableware instead of single-use items. You can also help to reduce food waste by taking advantage of the self-service catering options designed for every appetite.
