Participation

Dear Delegates,

ITU events are organised to the highest ethical standards: they are inclusive, respectful and safe.

You are reminded that while we come from many different cultures and backgrounds, there is a standard of conduct that governs our behaviour and choices at ITU events. All participants can expect to be treated with integrity, and respect for diversity and professionalism in our discussions with each other and as part of our shared working environment.

As at all UN events and conferences, the WTDC offers a professional and respectful environment, free of discrimination and harassment. All participants are expected to behave with integrity and respect towards all others attending or involved with the WTDC. It is the responsibility of each one of us to think about how we interact and engage with each other.

By completing registration to the conference, delegates have confirmed they have read and understood the Code of Conduct endorsed by the Chief Executive Board, to prevent harassment at United Nations System Events, which is applicable to all ITU meetings, conferences, and events wherever they take place.

Should you need to report any incident, please contact the Incident Reporting Hotline: incident-reporting@itu.int or +41 79 839 6788. You will also find this information displayed during the event. You can also contact the Ethics Office for advice: ethicsoffice@itu.int.

The ITU commits to zero tolerance of any form of harassment. The ITU Secretary-General reserves the right to take action where necessary.
