            To  be  considered  ‘sustainable’,  urban  plans  should  have  all  of  the  five  elements  listed  above,
            demonstrated through evidence-based and innovative methodology.


            Optimizing urban planning: It is recommended that Riyadh engages in spatial assessment and planning
            to identify existing places and plans for more  within the city that demonstrate high connectivity.

            Creating  more  pedestrian  zones  will  also  help  optimize  Riyadh’s  urban  planning  results.
            It is recommended that the city researches and employs key considerations or guidelines  when
