The L2/L3 hybrid bearer mode is used in the Open Access Network flexible aggregation/backbone
layer scenarios. Residential HSI and VoIP services are transparently transmitted to RSP networks.
Residential IPTV services are transmitted to the PE through L2VPN, and the PE forwards the services
to the ASBR through L3VPN.
