growth of mobile telecommunications is an indicator of the importance of
the radio spectrum for the social and economic welfare of any nation and
among nations. More and more countries are examining the issue of
setting fees for spectrum use.
The major objective of BDT
work in this area is to strengthen national regulatory bodies in the
fields of frequency planning and assignment, spectrum management and
radio monitoring, and provide efficient tools for managing the spectrum.
