Eligibility and deadline Within the budget available, one 
fellowship per country may be granted to participants from countries with a GDP 
per capita less than 2'000 USD, with priority to Least Developed Countries (LDCs). 
Priority will be given to participants who will submit a paper of direct 
relevance to an agenda item. Due to budgetary constraints, the 
countries’ beneficiaries of a fellowship may have to contribute partly to the 
costs of the fellowship. You are invited to submit your requests for fellowships 
no later than 6 February 2009 by completing the appropriate section of 
the online registration and fellowship form. Please note that requests for 
fellowships arriving after the fixed deadline will be considered on an "as 
possible" basis.        
Procedure While the registration is done by 
pressing the "submit button", fellowship applications should not 
be sent with the “submit” button. After having registered 
with the "submit" button, please print the form, sign it, 
have it signed by the approving officer of your administration, get the 
form stamped (official stamp of the administration). Once complete, you may 
either scan it and email it to BDT

the Fellowships Service at: Tel: +41 22 730 5487. Interpretation and translation of agenda 
documents will be provided based on the requests of participants. You are 
therefore invited to indicate on the registration form whether you require 
languages other than English before 16 January 2009. Based on the 
requests made by this deadline and provided there are at least five requests for 
a given language, interpretation and translation will be provided in the 
requested languages 
It is imperative that 
fellows be present from the first day to end of the meeting and participate 
during the entire fellowship period. 
Please note that the deadline for submitting requests for 
fellowships is 6 February 2009.
 
Requests received after 
the deadline will be considered on an "as possible" basis. |
