Visa requirements
Non-Egyptian visitors arriving in Egypt are
required to be in possession of a valid passport and, in many cases, an entry
visa. Please check with the nearest Egyptian Consulate for specific details and
regulations relevant to your nationality. A list of websites for Egypt's

When applying for a visa, please provide:
a copy of ITU's confirmation letter with
your ID number
two photos
an Entry Visa Application Form duly
completed (available
here)
a valid passport (normally with a validity
of six months beyond the date of entry to Egypt)

Hotel accommodation
Delegates attending the World Telecommunication
Indicators Meeting/Rapporteur's Group meeting on Question 21/1
may register to several hotels near the venue.
The following procedure should be followed in
order to secure the reservation of hotel rooms at the preferential rates
given below:
Participants request
the official travel agency
reservations@kcairotravel.comto book their room in the hotel selected from the list
below, stating clearly their names, organization,
confirmation ID from the ITU Registration service and method
of payment as well as date of arrival and date of departure.
The travel agent will calculate the total costs and inform
the participant who can pay this amount either via bank
transfer or with an American Express credit card. In case of
bank transfers, participants are requested to send to the
Travel agency the bank confirmation of the transfer in order
to confirm the booking. If payment is to be made by Amex, a
copy of the credit card that clearly shows the name,
expiration date and card number should be sent to the Travel
Agency. For any further information, the

NOTE: participants who book their accommodation directly with the
hotel through their websites are not entitled to these preferential
rates made available only through the official travel agent
