ITU-NBTC Training Programme 2019

The Office of the National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (“NBTC”), Thailand, intends to support a capacity building project with the International Telecommunication Union to enhance the skills of its staff and the telecommunication/ICT stakeholders in priority areas of “Artificial Intelligence” and “Traffic engineering and advanced wireless (5G and IoT) network planning”. This Project contributes to meeting the expected results of the ITU Asia-Pacific Regional Initiative on “Enabling policy and regulatory environments” among other development programmes, initiatives and activities. The Project will be carried out through organizing workshops/training programmes between March and December 2019 in Thailand.

Excellence Training on “Traffic engineering and advanced wireless network
planning”, was successfully held from 30 September – 3 October 2019 in Hotel
Radisson Blu, Bangkok, Thailand.  The
training workshop was organized by the ITU, the National Broadcasting and
Telecommunications Commission (NBTC) of Thailand and the Wireless Communication
Centre, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM).
