Development of a Roadmap for Mobile Television Broadcasting Deployment and Regulation in Thailand

The National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC) of Thailand has mandates to put in place policy and regulatory frameworks for, and ensuring the provision of, digital broadcasting services in Thailand. The International Telecommunication Union (ITU), pursuant to the outcomes of the World Telecommunication Development Conference, held in Hyderabad, India in 2010 (WTDC-2010), is also mandated to assist its Member States and their regulators in the deployment of mobile television broadcasting.
Considering the above and with an aim of the NBTC to roll-out mobile television broadcasting in Thailand, ITU and NBTC are implementing this project on development of a roadmap for mobile television broadcasting deployment and regulation in Thailand.
