Project No 9THA12016
Title Study of Telecommunications Price Regulation in Thailand
Description

Realizing the converged environment and rapid changes in the telecommunication sector, the Office of the National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission of Thailand and the International Telecommunication Union are entering into an agreement to implement a joint project aimed to study and recommend a new price regulatory framework for the telecommunications sector in Thailand. The project will focus on mobile non-voice services (sms, mms, and broadband data), and fixed broadband service. The study aims to recommend specific rates of the aforementioned services which will be used as references for a new recommended price regulation in Thailand’s telecommunication sector.
