2022 Contribution from the Government of Australia (DITRDC) for supporting the WTDC-22

DITRDC made a voluntary contribution in 2022 to ITU for the purpose of supporting:

a)  fellowships from the Pacific region and other developing countries from Asia (upon request and subject to the completion of required ITU administrative processes) to the World Telecommunication Development Conference and Generation Connect Global Youth Summit, which will be held in Kigali, Rwanda, from 2 to 16 June 2022 (hereinafter referred to as the “WTDC-22”);

b)  one event for the Network of Women in the ITU-D Sector during WTDC-22, and 

c)  financial support to participants from the Pacific region and other developing countries from Asia (upon request and subject to the completion of required ITU administrative processes) to a side event to be organized at the Plenipotentiary Conference 2022, which will be held in Bucharest, Romania, from 26 September to 14 October 2022.
