The main objectives of the project are as follows: - To design and implement an interactive distance education programme for primary school teachers, teacher educators and educational supervisors; - To develop print, audio, video and computer software according to the requirements of the proposed distance education programme; - To use Interactive Television (ITV) to improve quality of interactivity in distance education programme and standardize technology specification for ITV for application in distance education; - To gain insight into the organizational, managerial and technical constraints and problems in interactive distance education for in-service training of primary teachers, teacher educators and educational supervisors. |
