A comprehensive evaluation of the project was impeded by the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic and the overall delay in the implementation of the project activities, but Two campaigns implemented (mRamadan and mHaj). mDiabetes campaign initiated but not fully implemented. In addition, mCorona campaign was launched leveraging project’s capacity and tools and the mHealth solution developed and deployed was adopted by national stakeholders and was actively used in COVID-19 response: Functional mHealth platform deployed, WHO curated content adapted to country context, Diabetics benefited from regular guidance and advised on how to manage their condition (28,140 people), People potentially at risk of diabetes were supported through preventive behavior change advice (6,500 participants) and Health workers (780) received basic training in prevention, diagnosis and management of diabetes and its secondary conditions
