This project aims at promoting policy development and regulatory reform in relation to ICT. It also aims at building human and institutional capacity in the field of ICT through a range of targeted training, education and knowledge sharing measures. The project will actively assist both ECOWAS and UEMOA towards creating a common telecommunication market on their respective territories. The project has the following components: ICT policy and legislation; Licensing; Universal Services/Access; Interconnection; Spectrum and numbering management ; Market data collection. |
