Title Centre of Excellence Network in the Arab Region - Phase II
Description Training courses will centre on the main core areas (Business management, Technology Awareness, Spectrum Management, Telecommunications Regulation and Rural connectivity), that have been established as still relevant. A strong E-Learning culture will have been created to ensure a growing contribution of On-line training to the modes of delivery in the region.

Achievements

The main project objective was to provide capacity building of various ICT fields in the Arab region through 4 Nodes: Telecom Policies and Regulations; Business Management; Rural ICT Development and ICT New Services and Technologies.
The project was implemented and achieved the following main results:-
• 53 Training workshops were conducted.
• 1520 trainees were trained.
• 2 Nodes are capable of providing online activities.
