In the execution of this project we will introduce new technological and managerial issues: -Application of state of the art technology such as WiFi and adapt it to the rural areas. WiFi technology is being mass produced and the cost is low compared with other solutions. The convergence concept (VoIP and data) will be applied. -We tested the rural pager solution for spread out communities and we would like to pilot the solution attached to the Multipurpose Community Telecenters MCT. -To pilot the transformation of old concept telephone operated public rural offices to community managed MCTs. |
