Description |
The project aims to support efforts by the Government of Mali in Bamako for the creation of cyberspace and an ICT training center open to all, with equipment and software for the people with disabilities. This project also aims to provide persons with disabilities technical skills in ICT to enable them to participate in social and economic activities as well as other citizens of Mali. This will give them more opportunities to find stable employment and improve the long-term income and living conditions. |

Achievements |
The project was fully implemented by establishing a Cyber Café for persons with disabilities. The Cyber Café is a point of contact and interaction between persons with disability and able-persons contributing to the improvement of social relations. The necessary equipment had been provided through this project and income generated from services (internet photocopying, telephone, fax) enhance the sustainability of the established center. |
