Monitoreo del Espectro Radioelectrico

The project aims to support the Ministry of Communications (MC) of Cuba by increasing its capacity to monitor and measure the technical parameters of radio stations to locate sources of interference and unauthorized radio stations. The Project envisages, in Phase I, the rehabilitation by the MC of the facilities of the fixed monitoring station covering the capital, Havana and, in Phase II, the modernization of the existing equipment in that fixed monitoring station. In Phase III, depending on the availability of funds, the Project will acquire equipment for a mobile unit to carry out field missions. As a result of its application, the Project will increase the capacity of the MC to operate the national spectrum monitoring system.
