| Description |
Promoting development of small island communities is of critical importance in fulfilling the UN Sustainable Development Goals in the Asia Pacific region. Pacific Island countries aim to bring the benefits of the digital transformation to its citizens adopting a whole of government and Smart Islands approach. The project aims to provide assistance to three Pacific Islands countries (Fiji, Papua New Guinea and Vanuatu) on Smart Islands, which is aimed at providing affordable and sustainable access to digital networks and services to communities in islands. |
